I'm not a professional athlete or
nutritionist, I'm just a regular guy who finally decided to change
his life. In some ways, I've been aware of nutrition (or at least
the dangers of sugar) my entire life, considering I have distinct
memories of getting in trouble for taking M&Ms and other candy
OUT of my mom's shopping cart as small child because, even then, I
knew they were terrible for us. This blog will be from the
perspective of a very flawed man with bad habits (I'm actually drunk
as I try to type this) attempting to change his life. I've learned
plenty by reading and/or listening to countless books, articles,
documentaries, and podcasts about health and nutrition over the last
twenty years, and I'm certainly fitter than the average American, but
I'm nowhere near my full potential. I'm just a regular guy who who
has known about the benefits of becoming a fat burning man for years
who finally reached his tipping point. This weekend has opened my
eyes to the possibilities of consuming more fat and less of
everything else. During today's bike ride, the longest I've ever
biked in my entire life without consuming anything but water (with
some Zipfizz), I made two incredible realizations. The second of
which was that I would start this blog today detailing my long
journey to becoming a fat burning man. I have so much more to write,
but I'll save it for tomorrow when I'm sober (yes, I have a long way
to go).
Not that anyone will read this any time
soon but, to those who may read it in the future from the very
beginning, expect the Who, What, Where, When, and Why tomorrow, as
well as my general background and my eventual goals. Things are
about to get REAL!
